Sometimes, all you need is a long walk out in the middle of nowhere.
When that walk comes with pristine weather, beautiful scenery, delightful company, and a simple picnic lunch, you might as well place yourself in heaven.
My dear friend Emily and I took advantage of this very-uncharacteristic Texas “winter” weather to take a long walk in the beautiful Greenbelt outside of Denton. We walked, chatted, watched wildlife, and took in the landscape together.
Such a lovely morning really soothes the soul.
Here are some snapshots of our beautiful outing!
“Walking . . . is how the body measures itself against the earth.”
