The past couple of weeks have been very eventful! I thought I’d take a moment to catch you all up on some lovely memories!
- ARKANSAS and COLLEGE STATION
I spent two lovely weekends visiting friends at different college campuses!
First, I visited Arkansas and spent a very artsy weekend in Eureka Springs and Fayetteville. We ate delicious food (and I found very easy vegetarian options– my first ever vegetarian vacay!), toured countless amazing artsy stores, spent beautiful hours outdoors in the Ozarks, had lots of laughs and hugs, and took home some lovely treasures.
A whole two days later I got in the car again and drove the other direction to College Station. I spent a lovely and relaxing weekend going for walks, having heart-to-hearts, doing fun things around town, and learning all about nutrient absorption from a super intelligent researcher!
- HIKING
Spring is officially here, and Leben and I have taken full advantage of the gorgeous weather. We have traveled quite a few trails together in the last couple weeks. I love seeing the new spring green!
- FAMILY TIME
Some of you may remember me visiting Chicago to visit my sister and her family there. Well, our days of visiting Chicago every year are over! Abi, Lance, and little Annie Beth are in Texas!
In the midst of their search for a home in the Austin area, this new family has been spending a lot of time with us here at home. I am so excited to get to spend time with my sister, brother, and little niece!
- JOB JOB JOB
BIG NEWS THIS IS NOT A DRILL THIS IS REAL LIFE PINCH ME
I GOT A JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so incredibly excited to announce that I was awarded an internship with BrainChase, an online learning company for kids based in Austin. I will be moving to the Austin area in late may to begin this new adventure.
After months and months of countless job applications, I finally have relief.
I am so happy!!!
Thank you for taking the time to catch up with little miss Mandi! I hope you have a truly lovely afternoon!
